Cooking with Carmela

May 2011

Say “Buon giorno” to Italian cuisine with chef Carmela Tursi Hobbins. She will highlight some Italian favorites during a cooking class on Tuesday, May 24 at the Welcyon corporate office/Suite 201 below the Edina location. The class starts at 11 a.m. and includes free samples. This is your chance to taste the flavors of Italy and learn some delicious recipes. Cost for the class (and light lunch) is $10.


Welcyon Joins Forces with Healthy Eating Minnesota

Welcyon recently was invited to join a local coalition committed to the fight against obesity. The Healthy Eating Minnesota project reaches out to organizations and other local obesity-focused efforts that are committed to creating policy change. Healthy Eating Minnesota is working to enforce the message that obesity prevention resolutions are a solid foundation for communities to begin the fight against obesity.
